Students who complete this NEW program in Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning will learn all aspects of the industry including basic plumbing and electrical skills, soldering and brazing, reading blueprints, welding, commercial and residential refrigeration, sheet metal skills, energy management and conservation, digital computer controls, and relevant green sustainable energy technologies.
These green technologies may include wind energy, solar electricity, solar thermal, geothermal, bio-diesel fuel, biomass energy, and other emerging sectors of the industry.
Students will work on and with a wide range or equipment and tools. This Pre-apprenticeship program will lead to many college and career opportunities.
