This program includes house construction as well as projects in cabinetry. Familiarity is gained with all of the basic carpentry hand and power tools. Projects are contracted to provide students with real world job experiences. Students learn framing, laminating, exterior and interior finishing, millwork, and an appreciation of job site safety.
Carpentry is the largest of the construction trades. The program is certified by the Association of General Contractors of America (AGCA) and the curriculum has been developed and updated by the AGCA, assuring students of learning up-to-date skills.
